Business Development

With over 30 years of cumulative experience working in the Built Environment, we understand how the sector works, and how you can reach the audiences you need to, in order to take your business to the next level.

As part of our Business Development stream we provide the following services.

Continuing Professional Development sessions

We run Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions to guide your team through the ever-changing political climate. We run sessions that help show participants how to identify business opportunities and mitigate the political risks that may effect an organisation’s position within the marketplace.

Since early 2015, we have delivered the following sessions to organisations operating in the Built Environment:

  • The Impact of Brexit on the Property Industry

  • General Elections 2015 – What are the parties saying and what does it mean?

  • Post General Elections 2015 – How did that happen, and where to now?

  • London Mayoral Elections 2016 – The Contenders

  • London Mayoral Elections 2016 – Outcomes for Planning and Property

  • Devolution in the East of England: The Future for Property and Planning

If you would be interested in us delivering a CPD session, tailored for your organisation, please contact us and we can discuss your requirements.

Organising your Event

Throughout the year, our consultants organise hundreds of events and meetings for clients, on various topics and for various participants. Our successful Breakfast Briefing Series events in both London and Cambridge have attracted hundreds of developers, planners, architects, and consultants in the Built Environment. We have most recently held events with the following key stakeholders:

  • Sir Edward Lister, the then Deputy Mayor for Planning in London

  • Jackie Sadek, the then Government Special Advisor on Regeneration

  • Councillor Lib Peck, Leader of Lambeth Council

  • Councillor Peter John, Leader of Southwark Council

  • Clive Betts MP, Chair of the Communities and Local Government Select Committee

  • Councillor Lewis Herbert, Leader of Cambridge Council

  • Allister Heath, the then Editor of City AM

We can help you develop and run your own event by securing a speaker, developing a bespoke mailing list for invitations, organising the logistics for the event, and maximising the press coverage you are able to leverage out of the event. We guarantee that, with our support, your event will secure genuine new business leads and a positive return on investment.
